|DeeAnn McCoy and Jackie Thomas make a living defying expectations. They buy houses with the motto, “the uglier the better,” then tear them apart. They bring ultra-modern furniture and wallpaper into classic mid-century modern houses, then pull vintage accents back in to design. They left high-level marketing and advertising jobs to do it. Now, local experts say their company, Thomboy Properties, is one of the best in the Palm Springs renovation world.|
