SACKLEY SHOWCASE

Agua Caliente

Renovated and re-designed for its Modernism Week 2015 debut, this home located on Caliente Dr is a shining example of Stan Sackley’s work. Built in 1976 and renovated in 2015 by Thomboy Properties, key interior design elements include: open floor plan, varying ceiling heights, a soaring fireplace, a sunken bar, signature raked walls and walls of glass. While the architecture has been respectfully maintained to reflect the original vision of the architect, the design and flow of the home has been updated based on today’s tastes and lifestyle.

At 4,532 square feet, the house boasts four en suites, a media room and an office. The renovation is set off by magnificent gray Italian porcelain flooring, punctuated by white shag carpet in the bedrooms. The floor-to-ceiling fireplace and sunken bar have been adorned with Heath dimensional tile. The gourmet kitchen, which features walnut cabinets, Jenn Air appliances and white quartz countertops is now open to the rest of the house. The bathrooms demonstrate the same unparalleled detail from the custom cabinets to the free standing bathtubs, bidet, and Italian porcelain showers fitted with Hansgrohe fixtures. The walls of glass, updated with IWC’s Keltic Door Series, open onto the most magnificent resort-style backyard complete with 16’ fire pit, outdoor kitchen and white plastered pool and spa. The perfect setting to relax or entertain and enjoy the amazing views of the San Jacinto mountains.
